After asking everyone's advice for read-alouds, we've been working our way through Charlotte's Web. I recall watching the movie when I wasn't much older than Noogs, and I've always had a fondness for the book. Noogs seems to enjoy it, and often requests another chapter. I suppose I ought to tell her to wait until tomorrow, but I like hearing the story as well, so I often oblige. It should be a great vocabulary builder -- Charlotte often has to explain her word choices to Wilbur the pig.
We'd started on Stuart Little, which is a work of delightful style and charm, but it didn't seem to hold Noogs' interest so much, so we left off and will try again when she's a bit older.
