þæs ofereode, þisses swa mæg!



John Farrell gives a beautiful recitation, in Old English, of the melancholy Anglo-Saxon poem Deor. The recurring sigh at the end of each stanza is this line:
þæs ofereode, þisses swa mæg! 
That passed over, this so may.
